Somali Pirates get ransom money from Greek ship operators.
The panama flagged Navios Apollon with a cargo of 50,000 tons of fertilizer with Greek captain and 18 Filipino crew members was captured by the Somali pirates two months back. Now after getting the ransom money the Somali pirates left the merchant ship to leave from their shore. Now the ship is heading for India.
According to available report nearly 60 million US Dollars were collected ransom money by the Somali pirates from their last year operation. Still there are 99 seafarers are in their custody. The IMO and the ITF are used to condemn the Somali pirates activates as usual.
