Countries are to train seamen to prevent pirate attacks

More and more countries are going to require their country merchant officers and the crew rank to go for training to prevent pirate attacks and survival with the pirates’ course. This is to prevent ships being attacked by the pirates and being hijacked by them. Also to teach the mariners how to deal with the pirates once they are being captured by the pirates.

Already the Philippine government which provides one third of the total marine officers and crew for the world of shipping has taken steps to train their seafarers. They are offering a course named as anti-piracy training. According to the reports all the Philippine seafarers must pass this course after attending it for a certain dates.

This will offer more ship jobs opening for the Philippine Merchant marine officers and ship crew.
